James A. Williamson is currently both the VP of Production and a Senior Loan Officer for Fairfield Mortgage Atlanta. Since joining Fairfield in 1994, James has been the company's top loan officer in Georgia each year helping over 2500 families finance their homes. Out of over 130 loan officers nationwide who are affiliated with Fairfield's parent company, James has ranked in the Top 5 in volume each year and finishing #1 in 2000 and #2 in both 2004 and 2007.

James was born in Greenville, SC and received both his BBA and MBA from the University of Georgia. After graduating from Georgia in 1991, James entered the mortgage business as a loan officer in Atlanta with BancBoston Mortgage Corporation. James was BancBoston's Rookie of the Year in 1992 and has received the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia's Award for Excellence every year since 1994.

James met his wife, Wendi, in high school and they were married in 1992. After graduating from Clemson University and enjoying a successful career in marketing research, Wendi's latest challenge has been chasing around the couple's four kids. Jake, Jamie Ruth, and Drew are triplets and were born in 1997. They love their little sister Rachel who was born in 2005.

Over the last decade, James has been actively involved with a high-adventure Christian Youth Camp called Camp Highland. James served on Camp Highland's Board for seven years and continues to direct Camp Highland's annual golf tournament, which is the ministry's primary fund-raiser. He is also very involved with both Crown Ministries and North Point Community Church. James is a sports fanatic and loves playing and watching most sports. He especially enjoys working on his golf handicap, attending University of Georgia football games, and coaching his boys' soccer and football teams.
